In my earlier years, driving in a car, I saw an old man about to jump off a bridge overpass above a busy highway. He had climbed up a fence and had one more step to go. We immediately stopped, and I ran across the road, pulled him off the fence, and saved his life. He was elderly and disoriented, and I took him home and stayed with him until he was OK.
I also volunteered in a tutoring program with children who came from troubled families and had below-average grades in reading. I was the only tutor in the group who used the study technology developed by Mr. Hubbard. Compared with the six other volunteers, my results were stellar. I successfully helped each of my kids to achieve a much higher level of reading. This was validated by the head of the board of education, who stated how impressed he was with my results, and that I should be a teacher.
